Compared to a conventional wheel loader, the L200H High Lift can be equipped with higher capacity grapples and carry heavier loads. With an 11.2-tonne lifting capacity, made possible by the reinforced lift arm system, cross beam and rotator unit, this is a machine designed to let you handle more timber per hour. With the ability to stack logs to almost 23-feet high, 60% higher than a conventional wheel loader, you can make optimum use of your timber yard and storage capacity – boosting productivity and driving down operating costs.
Do more with less fuel, thanks to the industry-renowned fuel efficiency of Volvo Wheel Loaders. With a gear shifting ratio that has been optimized to adapt to the maximum expected workload, the result is faster acceleration and smoother operation. Fuel efficiency is enhanced further thanks to a host of proven efficiency-boosting technologies such as the powerful and efficient Volvo engine, OptiShift, lock-up transmission, Eco Pedal and external dry P-Brake. What’s more, the renewable synthetic diesel fuel, HVO (Hydro-treated Vegetable Oils), has been approved for use in Volvo Construction Equipment diesel engines with the potential to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90%.
Operators can stay in-the-know and focused on the task at hand thanks to all essential in-cab information conveniently displayed on just two screens. The interactive, integrated Volvo Co-Pilot 12.8inch display offers easy control over essential functions such as media, camera settings, climate control and machine status, and can display up to four widgets on screen at a time. This is combined with the dynamic instrument cluster, positioned in front of the steering wheel, which provides essential vehicle data at a glance.
A durability leader in its class, Volvo Wheel Loaders deliver an outstanding Meantime Between Failures (MTBF). Volvo-renowned quality runs throughout every component, including a strong frame structure and robust axles, ideally matched to the Volvo powertrain. The hydraulically driven cooling fan regulates component temperature and can be automatically reversed to permit self-cleaning of the cooling units. For long service life, the brakes are outboard mounted and the front and rear axles are cooled by the oil circulation.
Excellent in-cab visibility and field of vision is complemented by a host of safety-enhancing features including an optional rear-view camera with ultra high-quality display, and radar detect system that provides visual and audible alerts when encountering unseen objects. Orange handrails and steps improve visibility for operators and maintenance staff, while automatic door opening allows the door to be opened with the key or button.
Load Assist, powered by Volvo Co-Pilot, optimizes productivity via a suite of productivity-enhancing apps, including On-Board Weighing, Task Manager and Tire Pressure Monitoring System. The perfect partner in logging applications, with On-Board Weighing users can eliminate overloading, underloading, reweighing and waiting times thanks to real-time insights into the grapple’s load and payload of the load receiver. A customizable alert notifies the operator if the grapple load exceeds a set limit, helping to maintain machine stability and jobsite safety.
